Cody Science on Tap is excited to join and be a part of the worldwide movement of bringing science content into an informal and interactive environment.
In 1998, Duncan Dallas started the first Café Scientifique in Leeds, Yorkshire, England. Fashioned after the Café Philosophique format which started in France in 1992. Café Scientifique is a place where, for the price of a cup of coffee or a glass of wine or beer, anyone can come to explore the latest ideas in science and technology. Meetings take place in cafes, bars, restaurants and even theaters, but always outside a traditional academic context.
In Cody, Wyoming, we are partnering with Cody Craft Brewing. We’ll meet once a month to discuss various topics. We have several guest speakers we have contacted, and we hope to post our schedule soon.
