Connecting curious minds with local scientists over a beer or some such for the purpose of fun. Informal gatherings (typically the first Tuesday of the month) that last about an hour. Scientist talks about a specific topic for 20 minutes or so, followed by moderated discussion for 30 minutes or so. All you need bring is a smidge of interest - no background in science required.
